Khalil Shaheed

As a trumpet player of 40 years, Khalil Shaheed is one of California’s most celebrated jazz musicians. He has been a private instructor of music theory and trumpet for over 35 years while demonstrating a strong commitment to youth and the greater community. Khalil is noted a versatile performer and bandleader in his mastery of a wide variety of jazz styles. The most recent ensemble is a fusion in this music genre, pairing contemporary jazz with North African music in the band Mo’Rockin Project.
