creativity and the spritual path

islamic art and creative event

Nadia Janjua is an artist and architect from the Washington, D.C. area managing her own architectural design business called NJArtitecture, and freelancing as an artist. She has been drawing and painting since her childhood years, and considers art and aesthetics to be a part of everything she does.

Art for her is one of the most significant and influential tools for giving hope to people, for revealing beauty, for inspiring us to be reflective and thoughtful about our existence and our experience, and for forming and refining a cultural and self identity. Her architecture consists of a focus on residential design and construction, and disaster relief work. Nadia hopes for her work to bring individuals from different backgrounds and experiences together on the common ground that we can all appreciate beauty in our own unique ways, and reflect on it in meaningful ways. Her creative work can be seen on her website, www.njartitecture.com.
